Services and organisations should be included in this directory if they:
- Identify the early development of mental health problems
- Offer general advice and treatment for less severe mental health problems
- Pursue opportunities for mental health promotion and problem prevention
- Support children and young people with a broad range of emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties or disabilities
- Support the families of children with mental health problems who require support because a child's difficult behaviour, aggression or violence causes distress to the child or others
- Support children who are particularly vulnerable due to social problems such as abuse, homelessness or substance misuse or antisocial behaviour
