| What the service offers | The YOT provides a range of services meeting the needs of children and young people who are at risk of offending or re offendingThe YOT work with parents or carers to help benefit the lives of children.They provide encouragement and support to children and encourage children and families to use their local facilities and access their entitlements.YOT conducts initial screening and assessment. It works with partners and young people and families to identify the support needs early. YOT provides individual and case work and offers multi- agency casework to some young people, and where appropriate dual diagnosis support.The service provides behavioural specific programmes e.g. understanding anger, developing self esteem and learning to live an integrated lifestyle. It works with young people through the transition to adulthood. YOT offer some respite at the centre and provide children with a range of activities.YOT also try to improve consistent training and awareness for multi-agency staff by participating within joint training programmes. |
