What the service offers The service provides a formal assessment of a pupil’s special educational needs and related services through the process of statementing.Additional support to schools and specialist school placements for pupils with identified needs.
Who is the service for? The psychology services are available for children between birth-19 years and their parents.
What is the procedure for referrals? Requests for a formal assessment must be made in writing from a parent or the child’s school. People can access the psychology services either by referral from the pupil’s school or by the child or their parents/carers making direct contact with the service.
Opening hours? Monday to Friday 9am–5pm.
Is there a charge for this service? No, there is no charge.
